index run without deleting it.

Both rule values are case-insensitive globs (*, ?, [abc]).
Use Filepath Pattern to exclude files or folders by path —
e.g. */Discontinued/* filters anything inside a Discontinued folder,
*old*.pdf filters PDFs whose name contains "old".
Use Doc Library to skip an entire SharePoint document library by name
(e.g. Documents or *Archive*).
Rules apply at both indexing and search time — existing results are filtered immediately, no re-index needed.
